Kane graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a First Class LLB (Honours) degree in 2023 and completed his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde a year later. Following completion of his Diploma, Kane joined Beltrami & Co as a trainee solicitor in August 2024.

Throughout the years of his LLB degree, Kane volunteered as a children’s panel member, seeking to make decisions in the best interests of children who were often living in difficult circumstances. As such, Kane has a particular interest in cases involving vulnerable children and adults.

In more recent times, Kane undertook work experience with Latta & Co Solicitors as well as Brazenall and Orr Solicitors. In these roles, he explored various legal matters, including immigration, housing, private client and civil litigation. Kane has thus managed to build up a significant amount of legal experience and develop a client-centred approach to his work before beginning his legal traineeship.

Outside of the law, Kane’s passions are for football, politics and cinema.
