Antonia joined the firm in the summer of 2009 after completing her Diploma at Glasgow Graduate School of Law. She graduated from Glasgow University in 2008. Antonia completed her traineeship with the firm under the close supervision of her mentor Gary McAteer.
Antonia is now one of the firm’s Senior Solicitors. Having appeared in summary and solemn proceedings across Scotland for many years, Antonia has gained experience in a wide variety of cases and achieved numerous successful results for her clients, both legal aided and private alike.
Throughout her time at the firm Antonia has been involved in several cases of note, including the successful Athif Sarwar appeal, the complex over-fishing cases, the “Rangers case” and the Edinburgh Tram Inquiry.
Antonia’s forensic attention to detail led to her specialising in cases involving allegations of a sexual nature. Antonia’s friendly yet professional manner allows clients to be guided with ease through what can be the most traumatic and challenging time in an accused person’s life. Her willingness to go the extra mile in preparing cases has earned her praise from clients, colleagues, prosecutors and the bench.
The knowledge and expertise Antonia has gained throughout her time with the firm, coupled with her outstanding administrative and organisational skills, have led to her being appointed as the firm’s office manager. Antonia is uniquely placed to deal with the day to day running of the firm.
